I think it is amazing the difference 2 weeks make in a toddlers life. 2 weeks ago Kennedy could not push her stroller or really play with that car at all. In only 2 weeks time she pushes her stroller all around and gets in and out of the car pretends to drive and move it around. I know I am crazy, but this really amazes me and makes me a little sad at the same time that kids grow so fast. It is good but it makes me a little teary. Also because the older they get the tantrums start coming on and the opinions, and boy she has many opinions for a little one year old. Not just bad but good ones too. She really is so fun though we just love her and I guess it will help her out in life to know what she wants, unlike me who can't make a decision for anything.

Quick trip to the Beach

We went on a spur of the moment trip to San Diego 2 weekends ago. We decided Thursday morning and left Thursday afternoon and came home Saturday night. It was unusually spontaneous for us, but a lot of fun. We had to pick up some frames being done for Garrett and 2 baseball players were at different locations signing autographs so we did it all. One of the signings was at the San Diego county fair so we had a blast hanging out there. Then we went to the beach for a few hours and played. It was Kennedy's first time in the sand and she loved it. We are going a lot this summer. It just kind of worked out that way. But our kids are still young enough that it works out okay.

San Diego State had a booth at the fair and let the kids try on the different football pad and uniform. It was really heavy, I am suprised he did not fall over.

Playing at the fair.

This is a picture of Jake Peavy and Dallin. Peavy is a pitcher for the San Diego Padres and a really nice guy. He agreed to take his picture with Dallin. We got his autograph and Tony Gwynn's (a hall of famer that used to play for the Padres) this weekend.
